Miami Herald Columnist, Jackie Bueno Sousa, reported in the Herald yesterday that property records are not being listed accurately on the My Home, property appraiser website. People buying distressed properties (foreclosures) are listed as the owner, but the prior selling price and prior sale date is listed under their name. This is printing false records. In Broward they put the new information in except they put a "D" next to it signifying it is Distressed and will not be counted per orders from the Florida Department of Revenue.
How does this action by the Dept. of Revenue Statewide, change all of Florida reporting numbers?
