They don't really care what we think. And besides, it's too late anyway. I'm sure they're confident that we will forget.
ReplyDeleteThis is an utter and complete breakdown in the representative democracy system. The Commissioners that allowed this to happen should be completely ashamed of their actions. Everybody knows that the majority of the taxpayers of Miami-Dade County were against the taxpayer giveaway. How could our Commissioners, in good conscience, ignore what was so clear to most of us? At the end of the day, we should all be ashamed that the people we elected into office can betray their constituents and continue to get re-elected.
