Mayor Manny Diaz Took Virginia Key Master Plan Off the Table
There will not be a vote at the City Commission on the Virginia Key Master Plan. The Mayor has asked EDSA, the Master Planners, to go back to the drawing board.
Manny didn't have the 4 votes he needed or else he would have pushed this through. Maybe Commissioner Sanchez wouldn't step to the plate for Manny, afraid of the fallout on his hope to become Mayor since the Marlin's deal took him down a few notches in voter's eyes.
