They had no sense of duty to history or grit to stand up for the integrity of this archaeological site and now they get to be its champion? That's history for you! In response to your comment regarding the revegetation of the site, I would suggest that an admirable goal would be to attempt to bring the site back to it's original vegetative state, i.e. a coastal ridge hammock (Simpson Park or Alice Wainwright Park are too remaining examples).
